PTCL Brings Voice Messaging Service for Free

PTCL has finally launched a Voice Messaging Service (VMS) for its valued customers. VMS allows you to receive messages from your callers when you are too busy to pick up the phone. With VMS, you can take messages, when you are not even at your home.

The functionality of VMS is very simple. After a pre-selected number of ringers, the call will automatically be re-directed to your mailbox. The caller will then leave a message for you in your mailbox and you can access to your messages in your mailbox 24 hours a day. The maximum length of a message could be up to 30 seconds and a message could stay in your mailbox for a maximum of 7 days. The service is free of charge and is currently available in 38 cities of Pakistan only.

How to Activate?

You can activate/de-activate this service by simply dialing 1236 from your PTCL number.

PTCL Announced Tariff Reduction on Sundays

After discontinuation of free local calls package, PTCL has brought a new limited time tariff reduction promotion which will be applicable only on Sundays. On every Sunday, you can enjoy calls to PTCL, Vfone and mobiles either Local or NWD at half rates. Here is the new tariff for Sundays which will be applicable from 1^st October 2008 to further notification for termination of the promotion:-

Local Calls                  Rs. 1 for 3 min (On Net including Vfone)

NWD Calls                  Rs. 1 for 1 min (On Net including Vfone)

Mobile Calls                Rs. 1.25 for 1 min

PTCL Vfone Unlimited Package

PTCL has launched Vfone Unlimited Package following Vfone Rayat Package. The package offers 24 hours nation wide unlimited free calls from Vfone to Vfone and Vfone to PTCL landline. So, you just need to pay daily subscription fee and that’ll be enough to enjoy talking all day and all night with your friends as everyone definitely has a PTCL phone.

PTCL Vfone free home delivery

PTCL has joined hands with TCS to deliver its wireless telephonic product Vfone right at your door step. You just need to make a call at PTCL toll free number 0800-80800 and a TCS guy will arrive at your door step with your Vfone in his hand. The best thing is free home delivery.

PTCL says the delivery to be absolutely free of charge and will be done in 3 to 4 days from the placement date. You don’t even need to write a cheque or need to have any credit card for making the purchase possible. As soon as TCS guy arrives, pay him Rs.2600 cash and also give him a copy of your CNIC. This will be enough to have your Vfone in your hands. The connection comes with a balance of Rs.100.

Remember, it is a must to sign on the forms and give a copy of CNIC at the time of delivery.

Vfone Double Balance Offer

PTCL brings Vfone Double Balance offer. The offer is for all those customers of PTCL Vfone who have not loaded card since May 1, 2008. If you are on of them, then just load a card of Rs.100, Rs.500 or Rs.1000 and get a recharge of Rs.200, Rs.1000 and Rs.2000 respectively.

Before using this offer, make sure you are qualified for the offer and haven’t recharged after May 1, 2008. To confirm this, call 1236 from Vfone and listen to voice instructions. Once you have confirmed, load the card and get double balance. This offer is applicable on cards of all denominations. Free balance will be immediately added to your original balance after card has been loaded.

All those customers with their connection in Permanently Out of Service (POS) State may also enjoy from this offer. All such phones are already restored by PTCL and you don’t need your phone to be restored to active state. Just load a card and get double balance too.
