UBL Debit Card Got Power of Credit Card

 

For the first time in Pakistan, a debit card got the power of a credit card. United Bank Limited (UBL) now powered its UBL Wallet Visa debit card with the ability to be used online for shopping. The only usage difference previously between debit and credit card was the ability of credit card to be used online. Now, this difference is also bridged by UBL by allowing it’s customers with the facility of using debit card online too. 

If you don’t have a UBL Wallet debit card, you can have it if you have a bank account in UBL. If you have one, then go to your branch and fill-in the application for UBL Wallet. Your card will be ready within 2 to3 weeks of the application by the applicant. Once you hold the card in your hand, you can use it either online or offline. To activate your card for online usage, simply call 0800-11825. The Phone bankers will help you in your card activation and will set your online shopping limits too.

For enhanced security, UBL allows you to set your custom defined session duration and transaction amount. You will be charged Rs.100 per session. With maximum each day spending limit of Rs.100,000 for Gold card holders and Rs.50,000 for Silver card holders, you can spend all the amount in your limit during one session. You can change your session details later by just calling the toll free help line.

Getting Started

You have to download an internet activation form and after filling it you have to send it to UBL by post, fax or email. Once your form is verified, you just need to call the toll free help line of UBL whenever you want to use your card. Just call them and set your session time and transaction limit.
