Telenor Offers Free Balance of Rs.250 on Purchase of New SIMs
To attract new customers, Telenor now offers a bonus balance worth Rs.250 on all new connections. The bonus balance is given in four parts. The new SIM comes with a balance of Rs.100 while the remaining Rs.150 balance is rewarded in three parts at Rs.50 per month. Rs.50 balance will only be posted to subscribers account if he has recharged his account with a minimum balance of Rs.100 this month.
Please remember that the added free balance will not increase the validity of account. The offer is applicable on Talk Shawk A1, Talk Shawk 30 sec, Talk Shawk per min and Djuice packages. It’s a limited time offer.
Telenor New Advertisement is a Show Off to Mobilink
These days we are seeing a new Telenor advertisement at many television channels in Pakistan. The ad describes the story of a person who missed his flight and had to travel by bus. In the journey, he was offered Samosa by the person sitting on his left but we refused. Then at some place during the journey, he had to make a call but found his network out of signals. So, he borrowed mobile phone from the same person who had a Telenor connection receiving full signals.
The leg pulling advertisements in Pakistan Telecommunication industry is no more new. Have you seen the advertisement with full concentration? What was the color of shirt of the person who missed the flight? It was Indigo off course. Then Mobilink also claims its signals to be available in all Pakistan but Telenor conveyed a message through this advertisement that we have even reached the places where Mobilink have no coverage. On more clue! The person who missed the flight belonged to an elite class and so do most of Mobilink customers. So, I found it basically a revenge advertisement where Telenor showed Mobilink that they have also covered many areas in Pakistan where even Mobilink (first cellular company in Pakistan) hadn’t provided its services yet.

Telenor and Ufone Misses Search Engine Option at Their Official Websites
Yes, that’s true. Telenor and Ufone don’t have any search option included at their sites. Both the sites are among the most visited websites of Pakistan, but still they don’t care to ease their visitors by putting a search option there. That’s really strange.
This story was originally discovered by Aamir but the story is really powerful. When other telecommunication companies like Warid, Mobilink and Zong do have search options available for their visitors then Telenor and Ufone must have thought of this basic necessity of a website. Every small or big site has a search box these days, even Pak Spider has one:P
