Zong Introduces Video Cards Service
For the first time in Pakistan, Zong invents a new style for greeting your loved ones. Now you can send Video Cards to your family members, friends or anyone you want. What you need to do is to create an account against your Zong mobile number at http://61.5.156.102/zongservice/ and then you can send video cards to anyone you want.
But I don’t know why Zong always leaves some bug in their system. When I tried to register an account, I discovered that registration process works fine with Internet Explorer but doesn’t with Firefox. Anyways, might be they discover this bug later and fix it.
Forgetting what the bug is at the moment, you just need to register, log in your account, select a card and enter receiver’s number. Service charges will be deducted from your account balance or will be billed in case you are a postpaid customer.
Charges
A one time charge of Rs.10 + tax applies for sending each card.

ZONG launched GPRS on per hour basis

For the first time in Pakistan, ZONG has launched internet on per hour rates. All other companies including Mobilink, Warid, Telenor and Ufone are providing mobile internet on the amount of data consumed. After rocking market with its services and amazing call rates, ZONG has launched its hourly based internet package.
Where all other companies charge you approximately Rs.15 (exclusive of tax) per MB, ZONG gives you unlimited internet usage for one hour in the same price. Mobile internet was not this economical and easy. With the per MB based packages, you always keep on worrying whether to open this website or not. Questions like whether a website will consume more bandwidth or not always keep on wondering in your mind. ZONG says it’s now time to step out of the bits and bytes charging domains and experience the joy of plain and real time based charging.
The service is a new exciting chapter in the MMS/EDGE history of telecommunication companies. Where others may charge you Rs.100 or even more according to your bandwidth consumption, ZONG will charge you with just Rs.15 excluding tax. This is also a point for other companies to review their policies and launch any such package to keep their subscribers intact.
